How to keep a travel diary with Mood Note
- One entry per day. Give it a title, like the city, the hike or the best meal.
- Add the day's best photos. Put several photos in each entry, straight from your camera roll.
- Too tired to type? Record a voice note and let it turn into text.
- Tag your mood. Travel has highs and lows. Both are worth remembering.
- Make a memory card. At the end of the trip, choose a layout, add the place and date, and share it with the people you travelled with.

- Something that went wrong, and how it turned out.
- A person you met and what they said.
- A sound, smell or view that surprised you.
- How you feel on the last day, compared to the first.

- Write the same evening. Details fade surprisingly fast, even by the next morning.
- Pick 3–5 photos, not 50. Choosing the best ones is part of remembering.
- Keep entries short. Five lines a day for a whole trip beats one long entry you never finish.
- Turn on iCloud before you leave, so your diary is backed up even if something happens to your phone on the road.
